Hi, I’m Kelsey!
The creative mind behind Black Rabbit Design!
As a freelance graphic designer, I’ve set up basecamp (shop?) in the Western Mountains of Maine in order to work in a rural, outdoor recreation based community, as those are the ones near and dear to my heart.
I enjoy creating strong, clear visual identities for businesses, organizations and mission driven projects that aim to connect people to each other and to the places that surround them. My curiosity drives my creative process, I want to know what the project is for and why it’s important. I want to grow community in whatever pocket I find myself in, connection is what makes us resilient.
I spend non work time, biking, skiing, gardening, running, camping in my (forever under renovation) vintage U-Haul camper, playing with power tools, listening to music and exploring my creativity in other mediums.

My approach
I’m available for work both in person and remote and I value time getting to know my clients regardless. Most projects will include an initial getting to know each other “coffee chat” to explore if we’re a good fit and be able to build a foundation of expectations and project scope on which to launch the creative process from. I aim to become a resource for my clients, offering a sounding board, advice, technical assistance and holistic design solutions in alignment with long term goals.
